This exam, organized by the UPSC, is very important for those who want to work in statistics for the government.

Mamata Banerjee mentioned that her government is focusing on helping students prepare for big national exams, and it’s paying off! She pointed out that students from West Bengal are doing better in civil service tests, which help them become leaders in the Indian government.

In her message on the social media platform X, she expressed her joy that two boys from Bengal took the first and second positions in this prestigious exam. She said, “I am very happy that our students are showing great improvement in exams like IAS and IPS as well.”

The Satyendranath Tagore Civil Services Study Centre, set up by the state government, is helping many young students prepare for these competitive exams by providing them with excellent resources at a lower cost.

The results of the Indian Statistical Service examination were announced last Friday. Sinchan Adhikary achieved the first position, while Biltu Maji came second.
