The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is gearing up for an exciting mini auction on December 15 in Bengaluru. The five teams in the league are looking to improve their squads and aim for championship glory next year.

To recap: The Mumbai Indians won the first championship in 2023, and this year, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the trophy with the Delhi Capitals finishing as the runners-up in both seasons.

Before the auction, the Gujarat Giants have the largest budget of Rs 4.4 crore, while the Delhi Capitals have the lowest at Rs 2.5 crore. All five teams have a total of 19 player slots to fill—four teams need to fill four spots each, while one team has three spots to fill.

A total of 120 players have been shortlisted for the auction, including 91 Indian players and 29 from overseas. This list features nine experienced Indian players (capped) and 82 newcomers (uncapped), along with 21 experienced overseas players and eight newcomers.
