Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar spoke on Wednesday about how some people, both in India and outside, are unhappy with the country’s progress. He mentioned that certain groups are trying to create divisions, disrespect the country’s institutions, and spread negative ideas in a planned way. He emphasized the importance of countering these anti-national views.

During an event to open a new skill development center, Dhankhar highlighted how India is making significant economic progress. “Just ten years ago, our economy was struggling. Now, we are the fifth largest in the world and we aim to be third in just a couple of years,” he said.

Dhankhar also mentioned a vision for 2047, calling it “Developed India,” which he believes is not just a dream, but a real goal. To achieve this, he stated that our per capita income needs to increase eightfold.

Moreover, he expressed that true nationalism means ensuring every person in the country is happy and prosperous. This is possible through the promotion of small businesses and industries in rural areas.

The Vice President pointed out that both education and skills are very important for achieving these goals. He praised the new education policy created after many discussions, which puts a special focus on skill development.

Additionally, Dhankhar reminded everyone that while we have rights, we also have responsibilities. He encouraged people to take care of the environment.

Overall, he called for a balance in society, where rights and duties go hand in hand.
