A video of a couple having sex on a Swiss Air flight has upset many people online, leading to an investigation by the airline. The incident happened in November on Flight 181, which was traveling from Bangkok to Zurich. The footage was recorded by security cameras in the airplane’s kitchen area.
A user on social media shared a blurred image of the video and said, “A couple joined the mile-high club in the first-class galley while being secretly recorded by the pilots.” It was also mentioned that the pilots are being investigated for sharing the video in group chats, which then became very popular online.
Swiss Air is looking into the situation because the couple’s privacy was violated. The airline has promised to find out who filmed the video without permission and to take appropriate action against those involved.
Meike Fuhlrott, a spokesperson for Swiss Air, explained that filming someone without their consent and sharing that footage is against their rules and data protection laws. She also said the crew should have stopped the couple instead of recording them.
The sexual activity was caught on a live camera meant for cockpit security, which is used to ensure the pilot’s safety. The airline said the video and the comments shared about it on social media are disrespectful to the passengers.
