Honda Cars India has introduced the new Amaze sedan at a starting price of ₹799,900 (ex-showroom). This launch comes shortly after Maruti Suzuki released its fourth-generation Dzire. With this updated Amaze, Honda hopes to increase its sales and market share in the sub-compact sedan segment, competing with cars like Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
Pricing and Variants
The new Honda Amaze is available in three versions: V, VX, and ZX. The V trim starts at ₹799,900, while the VX version costs ₹909,900 and the ZX version is priced at ₹969,000.
Stylish Design and Colors
The new Amaze features a fresh design, taking inspiration from the Honda Elevate at the front and Honda City at the rear. It has a bigger grille, sharp LED headlights, and LED fog lights. The car also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels and Honda City-style LED taillights. Buyers can choose from six colors, including Radiant Red, Platinum White, and a new color called Obsidian Blue Pearl.
Updated Interior
Inside, the Amaze has a modern dashboard with more digital displays. It features a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument panel and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system packed with connected features. Other important features include rear air conditioning vents and advanced safety tech known as Level 2 ADAS.
Engine and Performance
The new Amaze is powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 88 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Drivers have the option of a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
